Add the tag "XMP.RegionPersonDisplayName" to a custom view definition in your <TCMetadataViewer.ini>
Example:

02) Call the edit dialog

TC:
• Set focus to the image, which should be edited
TCMDV:
• Switch to "Cust" view
• Click in listview on the "Persons (Regions)" labeled line
  => Edit dialog will be opened:

03a) Case: Name is not pre-defined in section [Persons] of <TCMetadataViewer.ini>

Click on "[New region]" in the left listbox
=> A small window with title "[New region]" and a tranparent client area will be opened centered in front of the preview image

"Frame" your region by moving and sizing the "[New region]" window.
When ready, click the close button ([x]) of the "[New region]" window.

03b) Case: Name is already pre-defined in section [Persons] of <TCMetadataViewer.ini>

Values from section [Persons] of <TCMetadataViewer.ini> are listed in the right listbox
Click on the wanted name (e.g. "Anton") in the right listbox
=> The name will be copied to the left listbox, but no rectangle is defined so far

Click on "Anton" in the left listbox
=> A small window with title "Anton" and a tranparent client area will be opened centered in front of the preview image

"Frame" your region by moving and sizing the "Anton" window.
When ready, click the close button ([x]) of the "Anton" window.

TIP:
If your image is too dark (low key or underexposured) you could brighten the quickview image by setting the option
"Brighten quickview image"
from the right-click menu of the quickview imgage

TIP:
If you like to frame a small or tiny region, you can magnify the area of interest by framing your region roughly (using the "[New region]" / "Anton" window).
Then click on on the percentage information in the status bar of the TCMDV main window:
=> The selected region will be [to be continued]

04) Confirm

A confirmation dialog pops up:

Click on "Yes"

05) Rename region (Step 05 will be skipped in case 03b)

A dialog pops up, where you can define a name for the new region:

Enter a descriptive name for the region and click on "OK"
=> The new reion will be added to the left listbox

06) Save

Define the next region (goto Step 03a/03b).
When ready, click on "Save"
=> A progress dialog occurs
=> The edit dialog will be closed
=> Custum view in TCMDV "Main" window will be refreshed
